Cambio de perspectiva

The following are some of the Sustainable Development Goals concerning the environment. I have adapted these and other action points in the 17 objectives so that you can have a good summary of some of the key actions set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly, which are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.

The first TASK attached to these objectives is for you to express what would mean that all these points in the agenda would have been met by all of us as society by the year 2030. You will need the FUTURO COMPUESTO tense to express this idea. Use this form to enter your phrases. You can see an example below:

An additional change in perspective would be that you consider what you personally would do if you were in a position to action any of these objectives. As a politician, ans a NGO member, as a citizen… What would you do? ¿QUÉ HARÍAS?

This takes us to TASK 2.

First of all, a quick summary of all you need to know about the Conditional tense you are going to need:

So, basically, you are building on your knowledge of the Imperfect tense (one of the past tenses you have in Spanish) and what you know about the irregular stems you need to take in the simple future tense for some verbs that cannot just simply keep the infinitive as a starting point to which add the endings.

The imperfect tense endings typical of the 2nd and 3rd group verbs need to be attached to the infinitive for regular verbs. For irregular verbs, you will need to change the stem slightly and then you can add the endings.

So now you are ready to tackle task 2. Use this form to enter your phrases answering the question ¿QUÉ HARÍAS?
