Receta casera de helado multicolor or home-made ice-cream to cool down in the nice weather or to put a bit of colour in your day. Apart from trying to make your own ice-cream, suggested language-related activities:
-You can challenge yourself to translate it into Spanish and then compare (see further below for the Spanish translation).
-Share a recipe you like, but post it in Spanish
It is VERY easy. These are the ingredients:
- Heavy whipping cream
- A tin of sweetened condensed milk
- Vanilla (to taste)
- Neon food coloring or any other type of colour you fancy
- Sprinkles
- Beat heavy whipping cream until you get stiff peaks.
- Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla with the whipped cream.
- Stir gently until the mixture is of a uniform consistency.
- You can then separate the mixture into separate bowls or other type of container.
- Add some drops (2 or 3 or more if you wish to have a deeper colour) of food coloring (one color per bowl) and stir well.
- Cover each bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 8 hours.
- When you get it out of the freezer you can toss some sprinkles on.

Es muy fácil. Estos son los ingredientes:
- Crema batida espesa
- Una lata de leche condensada azucarada
- Vainilla (al gusto)
- Colorante alimenticio de neón o cualquier otro tipo de color que desees
- Chispitas de colores para decorar
- Batir la nata espesa hasta obtener picos rígidos.
- Mezclar la leche condensada azucarada y la vainilla con la crema batida.
- Mezclar suavemente hasta que la mezcla tenga una consistencia uniforme.
- Luego puedes separar la mezcla en recipientes separados u otro tipo de recipiente.
- Añadir algunas gotas (2 o 3 o más si desea tener un color más profundo) de colorante para alimentos (un color por tazón) y revuelva bien.
- Cubrir cada recipiente con una envoltura de plástico y colóquelo en el congelador durante al menos 8 horas.
- Cuando lo saques del congelador, puedes echarle chispitas de colores para decorar.
